As these technologies begin to converge, the impacts of the fourth industrial revolution are starting to transform the economy, business and society at large.

Early this year, the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) introduced Expedited Examination system related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in order to secure the applicant’s intellectual property rights more quickly in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
